How to Wear a White Dress 2 Ways This Winter
I don’t know about you, but white has always been a tricky color for me to figure out how to wear during winter. I see so many other bloggers doing a beautiful job of it, like Southern Curls & Pearls, but it always felt out of my reach. Enter this white dress:
When I saw it on the PinkBlush website, I knew I was up for the challenge. I loved the bell sleeves that are in this season, and the flowy-ness of it felt perfect. (I’m wearing a small, and at 27 weeks pregnant it was a smidge big). There’s so many ways to wear this dress! While it is a maternity dress, here and here are a couple non-maternity options so you can recreate the look if you aren’t pregnant!
White Dress Way 1

For this look, I kept the dress more casual with brown tights and boots, and added a cardigan and scarf. The colors of the other items all work together, and luckily white is the perfect base to layer pretty much anything. I can definitely wear this to work or on a casual date night.
White Dress Way 2

I had so much fun dressing up this white dress and adding a few of my favorite pieces this season: over the knee boots and this burgundy jacket. I kept the accessories simple with a long necklace and suede purse. I’m definitely wearing this outfit for my work holiday party or a dressy date night!
A Few Tips
Here’s what kept me encouraged to try a white dress in winter:
- Treat it like the neutral it is, and add season-appropriate colors. Red and navy would also look amazing!
- Experiment with dressing it up and down! Once I started pulling items out of my closet, I realized that I could come up with way more than two ways to wear this dress.
- Be confident! As always, any outfit looks good on a confident woman. It helps that this dress was so beautiful and comfy!
