Easy Spring Decor
We still have 10 more days until the official first day of Spring, but we are getting some beautiful weather here in Sacramento that makes it feel like spring is already here. I love every season, and each one makes me appreciate the next. So while I love the rain, the sunshine and flowers are just what the soul needs right now! Today I’m sharing some easy spring decor that you can easily copy and it won’t break the bank!
When decorating for spring, anything in white or light and airy colors is perfect. I found all of these adorable spring items in the Target Dollar Spot (although most were $3). You can see from the photos that I already have a white faux fireplace and light blue walls, so it doesn’t take much to bring my living space into spring!
No matter the season, one thing that is always a part of my home decor are candles. This beautiful soy candle from Cabine smells heavenly and I love the simplicity of the design. When Amber from Cabine reached out to me to share their candles, I was excited to work with a local Sacramento company! Over the years I have found the greatest items when shopping local, and I love to support local businesses. Probably the coolest thing about Cabine is that a portion of every candle sold goes to support the Mustard Seed School, which is a free, private school serving homeless youth in Sacramento. As a teacher, I value education and find it admirable when a company wants to support their community in this way. As a shopper, who wouldn’t feel good purchasing a candle that gives back? 😉
Cabine is kind enough to give all of my readers 15% off when using the code ‘sheknowschic’. Head over to their website to check out their candles, as well jewelry and other home items, and support a great cause!
