Last week I traveled to North Dakota for my cousin’s wedding! The trip took the day, coming from California, and I knew I would need to be comfortable. I put together the easiest traveling outfit for summer time, and I’m sharing it with you today!

4 Pieces for Easy Summer Travel Style

1. A t-shirt dress

Besides being a great everyday piece, a t-shirt dress is perfect for travel. This one from H&M is my current favorite and it is so comfortable. It’s soft and stretchy and I didn’t need to pull at it all day. I’ve found that when traveling, dresses can be so much more comfortable than jeans!

2. A cardigan

Since temperatures can vary greatly when traveling, layers are important. I was traveling within the U.S. so I knew I wouldn’t be going anywhere too cold. A cardigan was perfect and easy to toss in my bag when I got warm.

3. A large tote bag

I’ve had this tote from Old Navy since last year and I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth! It’s perfect for everyday use, taking all of my stuff back and forth from work, and for traveling! You need a tote to store all of your travel items.

4. Easy slide-on sandals

These sandals were perfect for walking around all day, and came off easily when going through security. If you need more support, I’d recommend a slip on sneaker (you can shop a ton of them here) but I did fine with slides.
