It’s still raining, but I’m thankful for it! You’ve probably heard how California has been in a long drought, so I’m happy that we are getting the rain we need. And all this rain has my Hunter rain boots on repeat! 😉

We’ve had a pretty packed weekend around here- laundry, errands, house projects, the list goes on. I did manage to brave the rain and sneak in a quick trip to the mall today! There were really good sales at Loft, Ann Taylor, and Banana Republic. I was glad to get in the store and try stuff on, but I left a little disappointed. I did score two amazing tops at Banana. I am in love with the colors and these will be perfect for spring! I’m always looking for clothes that can do double duty for work and casual.

I got both tops in petite, because I am pretty short waisted. The second top is a looser fit, and if I don’t get petite I feel like it makes me look bigger than I am. Anyone else have that problem?

Besides all of the beautiful clothes, I am looking forward to Spring so that I can get my garden going again, and hopefully get lots of fresh veggies this summer! I was out surveying the damage to our backyard with all these storms, and it’s a mess! (See below) But the rain is making things green again!
