Ok I know it’s not officially summer yet, but it’s been over 90 degrees here in Sacramento, so it might as well be! We only got to see Mike for 24 hours last week (it’s fire season!) so we spent some quality time together as a family. It was so nice, but of course over too quickly.

I recently picked up this Loft top, after trying a couple on. I liked the fit and I’m loving the peplum trend right now. It’s hard for me since I’m short-waisted, but this one was a loose fit and worked for me. I’m also declaring these denim shorts my go-to “mom” shorts! They are the Sexy Boyfriend fit from Gap Factory. I love that they are fitted and loose at the same time (how do they do that?!) and I’m completely comfortable with the length. I’m planning to go back and buy other washes! Btw, the top and shorts are on sale right now, so you need them!

 A white top and denim are the perfect, timeless summer outfit. I know I’ll be wearing them all summer long!
