I don’t know about you, but Easter weekend was crazy for us! I feel like every holiday pretty much is- there’s so much that goes into those events, and also lots of people to see! Mike was on shift until Sunday, so I had to prep for Easter on my own, while caring for two kids at the same time! Luckily I wasn’t hosting this year, and instead of baking a dessert I ordered one. (Side note: If you haven’t had the Champagne Cake from Nugget, you’re missing out!)

I found this cute plaid top a couple of weeks ago at Marshall’s. It’s the Cloth & Stone brand, which is sold at Anthropogie, but I wasn’t able to find an exact match to link for you. However, my jeans, sandals, AND tote are all on sale right now! I love that I can share good deals with you

The trees here in Sacramento have been turning all of the beautiful colors! Fall is my favorite season of all and it’s always welcome after the endless heat we get here. Plus, it’s always fun to pull out my boots and plaid shirts and change it up! Winter is right around the corner, and we are starting to get those hazy days with clouds.

I picked up this black and white plaid shirt a couple of weeks ago and love how comfy it is!It’s the perfect piece for fall and winter, and can easily be layered with a coat, cardigan, or scarf as the weather cools. I wrote about my favorite booties this season here, and I’m wearing them again with this outfit. As it gets cooler, I’m experimenting with tucking my jeans or pants into them instead of rolling them. I’m trying to be more adventurous, I guess!
