similar blouse, vest ($11!!!), scarf –Target, purse, boots
The weather has been all over the place lately, alternating between heavy rain for a few days, and then 60 degree sunshine for a few! I’m finding that dressing in layers is helping me deal with this randomness, which is why this scarf and vest combo is perfect. Layers are easy to add a piece or take off a piece (especially since I’m pregnant and get hot or cold often). This outfit can also easily transition for work by switching out the jeans for some skinny black pants (because I totally did it!).
Lately when I go to pick out an outfit, I stare at the few pieces that still fit me and try not to bore myself. Inspiration struck when I put this outfit together, and none of the items are maternity (except for my jeans). I ended up loving the whole look, the gray and cream together is so refreshing and light. I’m excited to share it with you because I think this look can easily be recreated with items you already have in your closet! If you don’t have a vest, my exact vest is seriously on clearance for $11!
Thanks for stopping by!

]]>I was on Target.com the other day and realized that all of the scarves I’ve been wearing are on sale/clearance, so I wanted to share them with you before they’re gone. I have every scarf shown below (plus a few more haha) so I recommend them all!
I’ve worn the neutral plaid scarf a TON lately, probably because there are so many beautiful colors in it and ways to style it. You can see those looks here with pink and gray (and photo below), and also on my Instagram. I also love my chunky pink knit scarf, but it’s sold out online. Hopefully you can find it in stores!

jacket, similar striped shirt, plaid scarf, boots
Hi friends! Today I’m sharing a casual outfit that’s perfect for being outside this time of year. I wore this the other weekend to take Ben to the park. I needed to be comfy but warm since I was running around outside. This look could also easily work for a day hike!
I picked up this Patagonia jacket in October before our trip to Carmel, because I knew I’d need something to keep my warm by the ocean. I am in love with this jacket and amazed that something so lightweight (it feels like holding feathers) can keep me so warm. It’s been on repeat lately as the temperature gets colder. Only problem is, I can’t comfortably zip it over my bump right now!
During the winter, any casual outdoor outfit needs a scarf. This plaid scarf is a major steal at $12.99!! I love all the colors in it, which pair with so many tops and jackets… it’s a must have! Throw on some rain boots and you’re ready for anything!

similar sweater, similar scarf, ankle pants, booties, watch
This season I am obsessed with long sweaters and scarves, and these pointy toed booties! The long sweater and scarf I’m wearing are actually items I already had in my closet, but I found this scarf that’s almost exactly the same. Since I wore this look to work, I kept it “professional” with black ankle pants. This look would look great with jeans of course!
I have to “point out” these pointy toed booties (no pun intended)! I love the Marc Fisher version, but didn’t want to pay that much. These pointy toed booties from Old Navy fulfilled all of my expectations! They’re super comfortable, slip on and off easily, and go with so many outfits. I even got them in suede because, why not? Besides, two pairs was less than the splurge! (That’s girl math for you) And if you catch Old Navy having one of their sales it’s the perfect excuse to pick these up (I got mine for about $25)! They’ve been on repeat all month with ankle pants and jeans. Next up I’ll try styling them with dresses, let me know if you have any tips!
