similar coat, button-down shirt, similar skirt, rain boots, tote
The trench coat is one of those timeless pieces, and instantly pulls together an outfit. You can wear a trench coat any time of the year, but I especially love wearing mine in the Spring! It goes well over dresses and jeans, and with a neutral colored trench you can’t go wrong. My exact trench coat is from Banana Republic Factory, you can see it here, but they only have it in black right now. I’ve rounded up some great options below, and they’re all under $75!
One of my favorite ways to wear my trench coat in the Spring is with a skirt and rain boots! The combination is pretty much endless, and any skirt and color boots will do. Here I paired the jacket with a denim skirt and red boots, because I love those colors together. When I saw this poppy button down shirt, I knew I had to have it. It ended up being the perfect shirt for this outfit!
Even though rain in the springtime can be a bummer, you can take it as an opportunity to break out your trench coat and rain boots!

lace peplum top, denim jacket (Loft, similar here), pants (Loft, similar here), sneakers, crossbody (recent @ DSW, similar here)
You guys, Target can do no wrong. Â This pink lace peplum top is a recent find. Â Lately I’ve been finding such cute pieces and they’re seriously stepping up their game with new brands. I just read that Target will be carrying a Victoria Beckham line next month! Did anyone else ever play “Spice Girls” growing up? I’m a child of the 90s. Anyways, Target- killing it with clothing. I can’t wait to shop the new line, I’m just hoping it doesn’t sell out right away!
This pink lace peplum top is my best friend right now. Charlotte is 5 weeks old and I’ve still got some baby weight (mostly around my midsection) and this top is the perfect camouflage. Not to mention it’s the perfect trifecta of things I love: pink, lace, peplum. You get the point.
Now that the warmer weather is on it’s way, I’m going to be wearing denim jackets much more! I didn’t realize that I missed them until I pulled this one out. This outfit was perfect for running around town, but I would also wear it to work with some cute flats! I definitely miss teaching but I’m enjoying my time off.

top, ripped jeans, booties (similar here and here), sunglasses, necklace, Â purse Kate Spade outlet
I wore this outfit this past weekend and it was perfect for the warming temperatures. I am obsessed with these perforated booties– I like to think of the little holes as built-in air conditioning!
They go with everything from jeans to dresses. I haven’t tried them with shorts–yet. I was so happy to see them online again, since mine are from last fall, and I’ve seen them recently at Marshall’s for the same price.
I’m also loving these ripped jeans from Old Navy. I have this pent-up desire to own a million pairs of ripped jeans, and I think it’s because when I was pregnant I couldn’t find any distressed jeans, so I really missed wearing them. Now they’re all I want to wear! This pair is high-waisted (perfect for my mom bod) and they fit really well. Can’t beat the price either, and Old Navy always has sales going! Right now their site is 40% off and the jeans come out to $21! I’m tempted to buy another pair just because
Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Monday!

Happy Monday! Sneakers are a huge trend this spring, and I’m not one bit mad about it! I’m a mom of two now, so if I can be cute and comfortable then that’s a win. I am obsessed with all the pastel colors of the sneakers above, and they make me excited for spring. I have a couple pairs already!

See how I wore them here and here
