]]> Although work clothes are not as fun to talk about, I end up wearing them more often than all of my casual clothes. How sad is that?! 😉 And sometimes finding clothes that are work appropriate and cute can be really tough. Thankfully, I’ve found the best pants for work and I’m sharing them with you!

I used to buy all of my work pants at The Limited, but then they went out of business. They’re now back but online only, and I haven’t had a chance to try any of their new stuff. So, I was on the hunt and Banana Republic didn’t let me down! I tried on a few different fits and ended up buying two styles (the Sloan and Devon). However, the Devon fit has become my favorite and I got the other colors.

I love these pants because the fit is just perfect. They hold their shape throughout the day and don’t get super baggy. The fabric is high quality and thick enough to smooth everything out. “Legging” is in the name of the pants, but they’re definitely not your typical leggings. There is a seam down the front and back that help dress it up, and a side zipper. I will say, they are as comfortable as leggings! I also love the ankle fit (as that’s my favorite pant fit) and they look good with so many different types of shoes. 

The Devon pants are easy to dress up for work with a pretty blouse, and they are a great closet staple for all women. I highly recommend them. One great thing about Banana Republic is that return shipping is free, so there’s no harm trying them. If you do give them a try, let me know what you think! Having good pants for work is a must and leaves you one less thing to think about each morning 😉

As a teacher, I try not to dress too casual at work. I have days where I do dress down, but for the most part I always try to look professional. I think it stems from starting my teaching career when I was young. I felt that if I dressed professionally, parents and students would take me more seriously. Over time, my work style has evolved as I’ve become a mother, but I’ll always love to dress up for work!

I was so excited when Margaret M sent me this jaquard skirt and couldn’t wait to wear it. The detail on it is beautiful, and this must be the comfiest skirt I own! I have a little baby bump, and the skirt pulls on, so it’s perfect for me. I’ll be wearing this many times this fall, and even next year after baby! All of their pants and skirts look so comfy, and I just spotted this gorgeous skirt and have my eye on it. I have a thing for skirts! Which one is your favorite?
