Fall in Apple Hill
Shirt (loft, recent), cardigan, wood watch, necklace, boots
A couple of weeks ago we headed to Apple Hill with the family and had a great day filled with apple everything and beautiful weather. If you live in California, a trip to Apple Hill in the fall should be on your bucket list! It’s on the way to Lake Tahoe, in Camino, CA and the scenery is beautiful. The pine trees combined with views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains make for the most beautiful backdrop.
We went the day after rain, so everything was fresh and quiet. Our first stop were the apple donuts and they did not disappoint! They are soooo good, and we snacked on the leftovers for a few days after.
There are animals and wide open space, so Ben had the time of his life exploring. We also went to Boa Vista Orchards to pick out pumpkins. Ben ran around the patch picking up every pumpkin and it was the cutest thing. I picked up a bunch of fresh apples, and then we headed to the brewery! Yep, you read that right. Apple Hill seriously has it all- breweries and wineries! My husband and sister grabbed beers and we all had a picnic and enjoyed the view.
It was such a fun day and continues to be a yearly family tradition. Ben is still asking to go back 😉
